The Submariner
The Original N.S.C Roll neck, based on WWII Royal Navy Issue jumpers.
Densely knit in a 5 gauge, using the same British wool as the WWII originals, and featuring the vintage 'drop shoulder' fit. This means the shoulder seam sits a few inches down the arm creating a roomy underarm feel with more knit material around the underarm area.
The now signature deep welt and cuffs feature here, inspired by the WWII originals. The roll neck is generous and comfortable.
The Convoy
Constructed in the same dense 5 gauge knit as the Submariner, with the same deep welt and cuff. This significant difference is that The Convoy features the 'inset sleeve' fit. This means the shoulder seam sits directly on top of the shoulder meaning less bulk around the underarm. This creates a more modern silhouette and makes it perfect for layering. The Convoy features a fully fashioned construction and the same comfortable roll neck.
The Diver
Features the chunkiest knit we use at N.S.C. Constructed in a 3 gauge knit, therefore heavier than both the Submariner and The Convoy. While it features a heavier knit, the 3 gauge knit is a little less dense than the lighter 5 gauge of other roll necks, though warmth is balanced out across density and chunkiness, and all are equally warm in our opinion.
The Diver and Convoy both feature the 'inset sleeve' fit. This means the shoulder seam sits right on top of the shoulder, creating a modern streamline silhouette with little bulk around the underarm area. Worth noting, The Diver it is a thicker, chunkier jumper overall.
